21st International Congress of Acoustics and Proceedings of Meetings on Acoustics

Alexei Kochetov (faculty), Phil Howson (MA student), and Chris Neufeld (former BA student, currently MSc Speech-Language Pathology) have presented posters at the 21st International Congress of Acoustics held at the Palais des congrès in Montréal, QC (June 2-7, 2013). The papers have been published in the latest issue of the Proceedings of Meetings on Acoustics:

• A preliminary ultrasound study of Nepali lingual articulations (Kochetov, Pouplier, & Truong)
• An electromagnetic articulography investigation of the Czech trill-fricative (Howson, Neufeld, & Kochetov)
• An electropalatography (EPG) study of nasal-trill/lateral sequences in Spanish (Kochetov & Colantoni)
• Articulatory compensation to second formant perturbations (Neufeld, Purcell, & Van Lieshout)
• Examining the extent of anticipatory coronal coarticulation: A long-term average spectrum analysis (Kochetov & Neufeld)
